Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

I reckon "Da Mystery of Chessboxin'" is one of the finest tunes of the genre from any era. The rest of the tunes are pretty damned good too, ignoring the skits of course.

One of my favourite odd folk things I've purchased in the last couple of years.

Re: NOW PLAYING.
Beautiful album. Not on the level of their self-titled debut, but I'd place it as my second favorite from them.

This sucks
The fact that my copy (as did all standard issue 1972 USA copies) came packaged as a double with Pet Sounds (this pressing of PS is the SHIT, by the way) invites a comparative context that this weak record really didn't need.

More my scene than Wild Honey.
I think I'll join you, even though you've already moved on.
Wild Honey was my "breakthrough" Beach Boys album. I was listening to side two and "Let the Wind Blow" was on and I was like "Woah, wait a second! What's going on here?"
I'd Love Just Once to See You/Here Comes the Night/Let the Wind Blow is such a gorgeous trifecta of understated, low-key pop.
I'm gonna dig into it.

I've had my BEACH BOYS LOBOTOMY playlist (most of Friends and Wild Honey with a few things from Smiley Smile and 20/20) shuffling away on my work computer since 8 am and I'm feelin pretty stupid!

Brand new Crescent album, released today. First track sounds very, very lovely indeed. There's a hint of The Balky Mule about this.
