I'm not convinced by this album so far. It sounds like a failed hair metal from the 1980's attempting to do something to show off their musicianship with no motivation behind the concepts and structures. Also, the album cover is hilarious looking.

Still can't believe that latest Dulux paint ad uses "Last Caress" as it's background music, even if it doesn't play any of the lyrics, it's still on dodgy ground.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Must be absolutely ages since I've heard this, the bass is sounding spectacular on these headphones.

I was thinking of getting this, though it appears to have sold out already. Zeitkratzer are normally fairly reliable with their classical orchestrations of odd releases. https://karlrecords.bandcamp.com/album/ ... raftwerk-2

First CD I owned. That font didn't bug me nearly as much back then.

First I've heard of 'Zeitkratzer'. Looks like they've covered some pretty interesting acts, from Cage to Reed to Stockhausen and the like. There's several videos of them on youtube; I'll check 'em out.

I haven't that in a while either. They've got pretty good drummin' too if I remember right.

Trying to build up courage to give their newest a listen - although listening to the classics might just make it even more disappointing than I expect it to be.
