^that's (usually) my favorite Fela Kuti track. It also cracks me up to hear my three-year-old daughter singing along. "wakka wakka wakka"
Just as well she has no clue what the song's about.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Re: NOW PLAYING.
Hip-hop, as just recommended to me by The Wire's Joseph Stannard. I'm hoping that "I Cannot Fucking Wait Until Morrissey Dies" lives up to the title.

She feels it in her bones, man! A revolutionary in the making. Little kids are great like that. Maybe in a couple of years you should get her a copy of this:

This is the 2 CD version which has been seriously revamped with b-sides and remixes, it is a thing of greatness,

More Wire/Stannard recommended hip-hop.

To be honest, not as good as Maher Shalal Hash Baz on their own, these are largely Bill Wells compositions, and they're lacking the distinctive charm of Tori Kudo's shambling summery jazzy pop.

First spin of the MY BLOODY VALENTINE Loveless vinyl reissue. Sounds ... cleaner.

Re: NOW PLAYING.
I used to have a t-shirt with this cover art. Wore it to the school dance at the beginning of my freshman year in H.S. in rural bumbfuck nowhere. Met another new kid named Chad. He was pretty cool, despite his love for Phish. Kind of a dumbass, though. Once bought basil from a hippie and thought it was the best weed ever. Last time I saw him he was selling phones in a kiosk.
