Hideously expensive but definitely the forerunner of "Rumours".

That's some fine power pop there.

This is actually the first time I've owned the entire album, though I've had at least half of it on other collections.

That damn Beach Boys thing.

A real mixed bag.

So far, the finished tracks are far less satisfying than the "session highlights".

I ditched it after a couple of listens. It just sounded like a complete mish-mash of half baked, poorly executed drawing board exercises, stretched way beyond their natural life in a attempt to make 'an album'. I suppose I will go back to it at some stage, but I fear it may be a long way off.

Yeah, that's the one.

I like a good vault clearing as much as anyone, but I can't imagine ever trying to sit through those live tracks again.

It's the second disc's Smiley Smile sessions (more? Ah, why not?) that I'm fixed on. And then that Surfs Up. I think of the live stuff as penalty tracks.

I wish Carl was around.

Compilation of random techno and ambient stuff I've never heard of, from 2008.

Not live at all, but a nice enough hip-hop album because Sole is a great stream-of-consciousness rappist, and I like the fact he doesn't feel the need to rhyme all that much.
