piero umiliani
to-day's sound
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

This is a new Ghost Box release so it's all half-remembered pastoral folk punctuated with decaying synths and electro-acoustic instruments that sounds like the soundtrack to a 1970s cult horror film.

Not heard this in ages, mainly because some of the "F" part of my CD collection is hidden behind a bunch of junk. Loved it when it came out, I'm hoping the appeal holds.

Still ace, I reckon. It's way better than The Centre Cannot Hold which was released last year.

Do Make Say Think - Stubborn Persistent Illusions
Best album of last year, I reckon.

Highly pixellated version of the cover there. Some real low and sleazy sounding bluesy punk, featuring Norman Westerberg of Swans on geetar, from back before Swans reformed.
