Get Shut Up And Play Yer Guitar, but no need to soak it all in at once, it's just a good thing to have until you get the next album you'd be getting anyway, Some real tasty stuff with Vinnie Colaiuta, one of FZ's most empathetic drummers. I like Stucco Homes and Variations On The Carlos Santana Secret Chord Progression. Pink Napkins and five-five-FIVE are really good roo. Heavy Duty Judy also.

Definitely a Top 5 Zappa album for me.

Much better than its sister album, Apostrophe.

One of my favorite FZ interviews on video - I was surprised that none of it was used in Eat That Question:

That might be great.

I'm sure it'll be good. The one they did for Freak Out was amazing.

Meanwhile, I finally got this for a fair price and - apart from the stupid artwork - I'm very pleased!

It has always been my favourite incarnation of the Mothers.

I can't fathom why this live footage stayed in the vault for do long: a straight concert film, without the distracting Bruce-Beresford-cum-dayglo-effects animation from A Token of His Extreme, it's a real revelation. Fabulous stuff!

Notice that the new cds with diabolical artwork are credited to "artwork Ahmet Zappa".
