I was going to say 'the worrying thing is that the broadsheets are all over this' but of course it's not worrying at all, is it?

What it is is utterly predictable - just one more example of how creatively fucking desperate we are in this piss-soaked, weak and isolated country.

Yeah, I thought of him when I was writing.

But really - looking around it's difficult to come to any conclusion other than 'we're fucked' when you look at British culture in 2018.
