Oh what absolute and utter rubbish. Really - total shite.

One or two songs aside, their output is colourless unmelodic machine-driven crap.

I would post a song to destroy that contention...but then I'd end up posting a New Order song to the "worst songs ever" thread and we can't have that! :)

For the most part, I agree. Here's one I used to like a lot more than I do now, although now I find it annoying. Brian Ray is McCartney's current guitarist.

Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk!

Wow, yeah that's not good. Totally infantile. Not as bad as the previous couple songs posted, but very not good.

It wasn't so much that I was boasting - that was your (and a few others') misinterpretation.

What I was saying was that many of us here could put together a song that would be every bit as good as a NO album track, given a day or two in a studio. It's not an outlandish idea by any means.

The fact that you have recorded a load of beeps on some app on your phone is completely and utterly irrelevant to what we're talking about.

Don't think it's ever been nominated, but I've always found this teeth grindingly bad.

Absolutely, it's one of the most boringly repetitive records for a start. Your heart sinks when it begins because you know it's just going to go on forever in that vein. I mean what is there to enjoy?

And no defence from me, I agree 100%. Along with Bopeepian Raspberry and any other pseudo-operatic bilge they put their name too, sure proof that they are by far the worst successful 'rock' band (actually I think they are at the stinking heart of prog) ever to emerge from these shores.
I despise them.

It's relatively short, has a decent solo and hasn't the same irritation-level as Who Wants To Live Forever which really is a dirge.

You say it's short, but it's a dog years song, one minute is about equivalent to seven when listening to it!

It’s all about the solo.

I prefer the faster live version from Live Killers

The notion that they are the worst major band ever from these shores is risible nonsense
Griff wrote:The notion that Jeremy Corbyn, a lifelong vocal proponent of antisemitism, would stand in front of an antisemitic mural and commend it is utterly preposterous.

Name a worse MAJOR band from the UK then

As you know, I'm not likely to get upset because someone disagrees with my taste in music, but I'm genuinely interested to know which major band (any definition of major you like, although https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_b ... f_all_time is instructive) you consider worse.
