I'm completely left off the credits for my latest release. Every other asshole in the band gets their name on the inner sleeve. Not me. It even says the lead singer and guitarist plays drums on the whole thing!!

What's the matter with those fuckers? Should I quit the fucking stupid band?

Or should I just read this thread and accept that "it happens to the best of us"?

Hey - it happened to Drumbo on Trout Mask Replica.

(I think that was intentional, though, so maybe I shouldn't bring it up.)

Edgar Froese - Macula Transfer
The tracks are named after the flight Froese was travelling on when he wrote it but on Qantas 611 they added a U after the Q

The new Kate Bush remasters has, rather poorly, decided the first album is called "The Kick Insde"......

Ouch. Where is this? Not the front cover, one hopes!

No on the spine of the vinyl. I'll see if I can upload a photo.

The back cover of the US Rolling Stones album 12x5 has "Congratulations" spelled "Congradulations" (though they got it right on the label). The misspelling has carried through to the current CD, but that may have been deliberate.

David Clayton-Thomas' 1972 solo album includes a version of Neil Young's "Don't Let It Bring You Down" (I'm listening to it now - surprisingly, it's not at all bad). It is credited to N. Diamond.

In the wake of the American Beatlemania explosion of early 1964, Vee-Jay Records - who had had the good fortune to license twelve Beatles tracks from EMI a year previous when EMI's own Capitol Records wasn't interested - started repackaging their twelve Beatles songs in every way they could think of. One of those ways was an album pairing them with their other EMI-licensed artist, Frank Ifield.

Note the last sentence of the back cover blurb.

Note too that this "copulation" was reissued several months later with a different front cover, but EXACTLY the same back cover.

Way too much Frank Ifield in that "copulation" for my liking.

Yeah, I don't know why there are only four Beatles songs on there.
