HMV Oxford Street
Reopens on Friday. I will definitely be going many fond memories of a clasic store.
I kept thinking "swim as far as you can, swim as far as you can".

We've got an HMV near where I live but because everything is so expensive in there I buy elsewhere. Nice to browse though.

Is that the old location or where the megastore was?

Nothing like browsing in a megastore, and HMV Oxford Street was my favorite in the 90s. You hold the product in your hand, it is shrinkwrapped, and all is good.

The original near Bond Street. I loved the megastore too, but the Bond Street one was always cool.

Yes the old one at Bond Street - which is reopening - and the megastore at 150 Oxford Street which the largest record store in the world or something at the time - which is not reopening.

If it’s anything like the Liverpool HMV you’ll be fine if you want to buy any type of Funko Pop, Marvel related tat, Japanese sweets and soft drinks, mugs, board/card games, t-shirts, mystery boxes (?).
And tucked away in a far corner there will be some over priced vinyl and cds for you to have a rummage through.
Enjoy!

Passed by it this afternoon, lots of people busy putting stock out and getting the shop ready. Think there were signs saying there were some free gifts to those who went in early tomorrow but can’t be sure.

Well this is what it was like.
Very depressing.
