A compilation supposedly put togther as Jimi's final album. Quite like it but not as good as the first three by any means.

Anyone still play Jimi these days?

It is excellent

I play this one from time to time and Band of Gypsys

That's it really

Did think of getting that at one time Lord but have probably got most of those tracks on a variety of psych comps that I’ve got already. Love the music.

For a while there years ago I thought this lot might just have ended up bigger than U2 - got that wrong. Nevertheless, this is a very good album and they certainly brought a unique guitar sound to the party. This is the colour of my cover.

Hasse Froberg Musical Companion - Parallel Life

Known for being vocalist with The Flower Kings, Froberg formed his own band as a vehicle for songs he’d written that didn’t fit TFK’s style. Sounds a lot like them to me - decent album, not quite as much twiddly bits I suppose, a little bit rockier.

I loved a drop of Magazine and Howard Devoto - Luxuria Unanswerable Lust is a nice album - a recent 'new' album for me

They never quite made it to the highest echelons but they were pretty good for a while.

Jailbreak is a complete album I would say C. the rest I would agree.

Good songs, well performed - their 2nd album, released in 2019. Melodic rock with prog tendencies. Always good to find a new band that appeals, even if it is a bit samey and clearly not top tier.

Picked up these two CDs at a boot fair this morning, virtually brand new - £1 each, can't be bad.

Joyous as the title suggests!

Diagonal - 4

Formed in Brighton, 4th album, released in 2021. Little known (which is a shame) but jolly decent.

Triana - Hijos Del Agobio

Excellent Spanish prog band from Seville of the early mid 70s - this is their 2nd release, still going now but not a patch....

1st couple of albums are classic, I actually used one of their tracks in a prog cup years ago and I think it may have won its match up, which was a surprise.

Dutch band's 2021 release.

Nice playing but the vocal melodies (well, and the vocals themselves) are a bit wanting imo.
