Interesting list so far. Have quite a few in the Top 100, but I also own about 20 which have been chosen by other voters. Also, a lot of artists I own but voted for different albums by them eg Interpol ....I voted for Antics

Björk and Interpol made the Top 10! That's impressive.

I forgot I'd voted for Interpol, I wouldn't have complained if that was number one. I'm almost dreading seeing what middling indie album is there.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

wow no one mentioned SFA or Bjork!!! Would have voted for SFA -Rings it was on my initial list but never see anyone talking about them so I took it off. Plus tend to only listen to a playlist from all their albums these days.

So happy to see Bjork so high, love Vespertine!!!

Also can't believe Interpol made 6!!!!! Never expected that!!! Yes DS still listening!!! This is the album I go to (along with Antics) when I think about 9/11. It also got me thru some hard times during those years and was part of their groupie/bandaid people at the time, including partying with them all.

Shocked to see BSS too. Nice to see other liked this album which in the early years of the band were fun to see as you never knew who would show up. I've seen 20 people on stage for one of their performances.

Midlake album is good too, just not on my top 50.
don't get the love for MGMT although I do have the album

so are the last 5
Strokes-Is this It?
Arcade Fire-Funeral
Bowie - Blackstar
Radiohead - In Rainbows
some fucking rap thing - aka K Lamar

I don't have the Bjork LP although I recognise (and like) the songs highlighted. I've got the BSS but can't remember a thing about it. The MGMT was all about three or four songs for me and I also rate Antics more highly by Interpol. And that leaves the 2 I voted for, SFA and Midlake.

I was probably desperate! There are 3 or 4 tracks I really like on there, but it is a bit patchy. I do like the general vibe of the band though.

It's about even for me, both wonderful albums. I got a bootleg copy before Antics came out and hopped on a plane to scotland. played it to death hiking around scotland and actually let a guy in a record shop in the highlands copy it and he put my photos on a disc for me for free as I was out of memory and couldn't get new scandisk back then anywhere in the highlands.

I have a strong suspicion Radiohead will not be making another appearance. I don't think Arcade Fire is beloved 'round these parts either.

The other three, for sure.

But then I would've thought Beck and Johnny Cash would make at least one appearance each, and I really doubt either of them will be in the top five. So who knows?

I'll give Antics it's due it is great, but Turn On The Bright Lights is greater, I've gotten back into it in a big way recently.

Shame on you, Campbell. It's an extraordinarily kinetic record.

I've never knowing heard it or the band, i think. Maybe their name put me off; i'll try it this week.

I had such high hopes for them
